Wireless Presentation & Classroom Technology Dropins

Explore UMD's wireless presentation system and other classroom technologies.

ITSS staff will be hosting dropin sessions for classroom audio-visual technology, specifically focusing on wireless presentation options.

Wireless Presentation uses a system called AirTame to connect a laptop to the projection system without the need for a physical connection or adapter. AirTame provides instructors and presenters with an alternative to the standard HDMI cable when sharing web pages, slides, and videos.

When and Where

Sessions will be hosted through on Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on:

  • March 16
  • March 30
  • April 6
  • April 13
  • April 20
  • April 27

All sessions are hosted in Kirby Plaza 166.

Can't Attend?

If you can't make it to one of our dropins, you can:

  • Email [email protected] with the subject line "Wireless Presentation Demonstration" to set up an appointment.
  • Explore on your own by visiting Wireless Presentation at UMD, or
  • Investigate AirTame in any classroom by selecting "Wireless" or "Source" on the podium controls. The below image with instructions should appear on the projection screen.
