What? Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) means a fully functioning Windows desktop hosted on our servers, but sent to the lab. Application Delivery Infrastructure (ADI) means we are delivering the programs needed as you need them. The experience in the full access labs is very similar to what is was before.
Switching to a VDI/ADI infrastructure will allow us to deliver these services later this fall to any laptop, tablet or smartphone (BYOD) inside or outside of the labs. If you have an Internet connection, you will be able to access the full access lab software.
