He provides systems administrator support for central computing systems and servers. Paul works with the ITSS Systems and Student Computing teams and supports the following areas:
- Virtual Desktop Infrastructure/Application Deployment Infrastructure
- Virtualization Infrastructure
- Windows Server Management
- Printing Service
- Licensing Service
- Active Directory Service
Paul graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato. He had been working as a manager and then decided to pursue a career in IT. He got his certification in A+ and began to work at a local Managed Service Provider on a help desk providing remote phone support. During this period he also received certifications in Network+, ShoreTel, and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate. He then began working as a Field Engineer responsible for network equipment installation, server migration, virtualization support, and troubleshooting.
Born in Owatonna, Minnesota, Paul enjoys doing many outdoor activities including hunting, ice fishing, canoeing, and camping that resonate within many of us. He has an easy going personality and also enjoys hanging out with friends, watching movies, listening to music, and cooking delicious food.
