We are pleased to announce that Nancy Hanson began work with the ITSS systems team on February 27. We expect it will be a smooth transfer since Nancy has worked in ITSS Help Desk and Desktop Support areas for more than a year. The move is the result of our recent Sys/Database Design/Admin 2 search.
Big Move for the ITSS Systems Team
Nancy's hire is part of our efforts to meet increasing central computing demands. The BYOD (Bring Your Own Device), VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure), and ADI (Application Deployment Infrastructure) roll out all heavily depend on central computing infrastructure. Nancy will be working in all related areas including lab and computer management, the virtual cluster, and the VDI and ADI server architect. Hence, she will be a great asset to the Systems Team.
Nancy's Background
Nancy graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management and Communication. She has 21 years of service with the 148th Fighter Wing Air National Guard and over 15 years of experience supporting technology in the K-12 and Higher Education field.
