Course site accessibility support hours
The ITSS Academic Technology & Course Design team will be hosting course site accessibility support hours to assist faculty in meeting the standards for accessible course materials outlined by the Department of Justice in their clarifications on Title II of the ADA.
During course site accessibility support hours, instructors work collaboratively alongside colleagues and ITSS Academic Technologists and Course Designers to make accessibility improvements. During a session, you can:
- Create an attainable plan of action and road map for accessibility work
- Explore UDOIT and other scanning tools to make efficient updates
- Understand what accessibility errors surfaced by running UDOIT mean
- Discover tips for removing and archiving content
- Discuss and test ideas for remedying slides, PDFs, videos with captions, and images with alt-text
Register for sessions
In order to make good use of staff resources, course site accessibility support hours are offered when 5 or more people register for a session.
Find the full list of sessions and register for the ones you will be attending.
