Information technology (IT) services advance the University of Minnesota's mission by providing our entire community with ways to connect, collaborate, and communicate on the journey to discovery.
Goals
The IT organization works to support the mission by:
- Providing exceptional services to demonstrate value and credibility to the institution.
- Supporting institutional priorities through valued partnerships and a customer-centered approach.
- Integrating information security principles into the organization's work through a risk-based approach.
- Cultivating an inclusive and respectful organizational climate that fosters a dynamic, diverse, and engaged workforce.
- Encouraging a culture of learning, curiosity, and experimentation, to ensure the organization is prepared to support future technology needs.
Service Delivery
IT services are delivered through a coordinated, collaborative, and distributed IT service organization of more than 1,300 information technology professionals.
