Wireless Presentation Using Airtame

What is Wireless Presentation?

Wireless presentation allows you to connect to the display in any ITSS Supported Classroom without plugging in a cable to your computer; you can use the Airtame app or a web browser to wirelessly present in a classroom.

Wireless Presentation Using the Airtame App

  1. Connect to eduroam wifi on your computer.
  2. Install the Airtame app on your University computer from Self Service (Mac) or Software Center (PC), or on your personal computer by going to the Airtame website.
  3. Power on your Display by selecting "On" on the podium keypad.
  4. Select the correct source by pressing either the "Source" or "Wireless" button on the podium keypad.
  5. Open the Airtame app.
  6. Enter the 8 digit IP address into the Airtame app. The IP address can be found on the classroom display as shown in the following illustration.
    Example: 12.34.56.78 including periods.

  1. The Airtame device for that room should display in your Airtame app. Select "Share Window" or "Share screen".

  1. A PIN (Personal Identification Number) will display on the classroom screen. Enter it into your Airtame app.
  2. Use the control bar to change the settings while wirelessly presenting.
    1. Select the volume button to unmute the Airtame sound if you would like the sound to be shared via the room speakers.
    2. Select the stop button to disconnect from wirelessly presenting when you are done.

Wireless Presentation Using a Web Browser

  1. Connect to eduroam wifi on your computer.
  2. Power on your Display by selecting "On" on the podium keypad.
  3. Select the correct source by pressing either the "Source" or "Wireless" button on the podium keypad.
  4. Go to Airtame.com/go using the web browser of your choice.
  5. Enter the 5 digit pairing code. The pairing code can be found on the classroom display as shown in the following illustration.

  1. Follow the directions on the screen to wirelessly present.
    1. Select "Tab", "Window", or "Entire Screen" depending on what you would like to share.
    2. Select if you want your audio to be shared via the room speakers.
  2. Select the "Stop Sharing" button to disconnect from wirelessly presenting when you are done.

Using Presenter Mode in PowerPoint: Windows

  1. Start presenting your PowerPoint presentation by clicking the Present icon or F5.
  2. Click the windows button on your keyboard to find the Airtame. app in your toolbar. Open the app and click "Share window".
  3. Click on the presentation window you want to share.
  4. Then right-click on the slide and choose Presenter View.

Using Presenter Mode in PowerPoint: Mac

  1. Press "Share window" in your Airtame app to show the PowerPoint. Keep the Airtame control panel open.
  2. Start presenting by clicking the Present button within PowerPoint.
  3. Press "Share window" in your Airtame control panel again.
  4. Right-click (control-click) anywhere on your PowerPoint window to see a popup menu. Choose "Use Presenter View".

Using Presenter Mode in Google Slides

  1. Make sure your browser window is not in full screen mode
  2. In your Google Slides presentation turn on "Presenter view". (Select the Down Arrow icon and then "Presenter view").
  3. In the Airtame app, find the Airtame you want to stream      
    to and press "Share window"
  4. Click on the presentation window you want to share. By default, the streaming will not be shown in full screen. On Windows, you can switch to the full screen. (Select the "full screen" icon).
