Available to students, faculty and staff, the ITSS Media Hub Checkout and CoLab offer production equipment lending and provides support for media-based academic and research projects.
The new The new MediaHub Checkout is located at the TechCenter, Kirby Plaza 165, and MediaHub CoLab is located at Kirby Plaza 173.
New Checkout Portal!
We've updated our checkout process to be able to provide you a more streamline checkout experience. Come to the front desk at Kirby Plaza 165 and we would be glad to help you explore the new digital checkout process.
Reserve media equipment in a new, simple process:
- Sign-in to Connect2 by using your University credentials.
- Search and add equipment items to your cart.
- Secure your reservation by choosing a pick-up time and date.
Pick up and return all equipment for ITSS MediaHub and ITSS TechCenter at the ITSS TechCenter, 165 Kirby Plaza.
MediaHub Checkout
Media Equipment check out privileges are extended to students, faculty and staff. Follow the new checkout portal for Connect2 to reserve media equipment for your next project!
MediaHub CoLab
ITSS MediaHub CoLab is an emerging technology space for collaboration, active learning and exploration. Located in Kirby Plaza 173. Open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
LinkedIn Portraits at the ITSS TechCenter Portrait Studio
LinkedIn portrait photos are by appointment only and free for all current UMD students. Appointments are offered every Wednesday. New location at the ITSS TechCenter Portrait Studio!
Media Accessibility Services
The ITSS MediaHub can help coordinate your media accessibility needs including captioning, transcription, translation and audio description (AD) services.
Space Reservations
Reserve time in our many production spaces including the 1Button Studios and course reservations for the KAML iMac Lab.
