Academic Technology

UMD's Academic Technology Team supports solutions for teaching and learning in classrooms, computer labs, and the virtual environment.

Our team of Academic Technologists, Audio-Visual Specialists, and Instructional Designers can:

  • facilitate the creation of instructional video and audio content,
  • assist in the design of courses, modules, and assignments, and,
  • help faculty and instructors connect to systemwide teaching support resources and events.

We actively support university-sponsored academic technologies and resources.
