New Spaces, Same Great Support: ITSS Location Updates!

Several ITSS services have moved within Kirby Plaza, with more location changes coming this fall.

Current ITSS Locations

To better support students and make better use of space in Kirby Plaza, we've made a few location changes:

  • ITSS Main Office: Now located in Kirby Plaza space is 166 and open for service.
  • The TechCenter: For technical support and walk-up help, the TechCenter remains in Kirby Plaza 165 for the rest of the summer.
  • Multimedia Checkout, formerly the MediaHub (Closed through August 30): Multimedia equipment checkout and online Connect2 reservations are unavailable through August 30 while we complete annual inventory and move the checkout desk. If you have an urgent equipment need for a UMD course or event, please contact the ITSS Help Desk at [email protected] or (218) 726-8847 to submit a support ticket. We will work with you to identify available options.

Supporting Our Students: Partnering with Disability Resources

To help meet the growing need for accessible testing space, ITSS provided its former main office and several staff offices to Disability Resources.

This change was a simple way to support student success while making better use of campus space.

Fall Location Changes

  • TechCenter: Moving to Kirby Plaza 143 this fall.
  • Audio Visual Support and Multimedia Checkout: Moving to Kirby Plaza 173 this fall.

As construction and preparation work begin in these spaces, you may notice some additional noise and activity in the hallway. We're working hard to keep service disruptions to a minimum and will share updates as we get closer to the move.
