These new staff members bring experience in web development, systems administration, cybersecurity, and audiovisual technology to support the campus community.
Osborn Ogonyo, Web Developer
Osborn joined the Web Management team on July 27. He partners with ITSS and University Marketing and Public Relations (UMPR) to support the systems that power campus Drupal websites and web tools.
Osborn holds a degree in Computer & Information Systems from Western Michigan University. He brings more than 25 years of web development experience, including 15 years working with Drupal, web accessibility, and project management.
Outside of work, Osborn enjoys biking, hiking, and exploring new technologies.

Ryan Ridge, Windows System Administrator
Ryan joined the Systems and Windows teams on July 27. He helps maintain and secure campus Windows systems and core ITSS services.
Ryan earned a B.A. in Telecommunications from Indiana University. He brings more than 25 years of IT experience in higher education, IT consulting, and cybersecurity leadership.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys outdoor education and has taught backpacking, ice climbing, and cross-country skiing.

Ian Frantz, AV Engineer
Ian joined the Classroom AV team on August 17. He supports technology in learning, meeting, and gathering spaces across campus.
A UMD alumnus, Ian earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Engineering Physics. He previously worked for ITSS as an AV student technician and summer employee before becoming a Control Systems Engineer at an engineering consulting firm.
Outside of work, Ian manages AV for his church and enjoys rocketry and piloting drones.
