ITSS does not provide wireless microphones or transmitters. However, wireless microphone receivers are in the podiums of all rooms with a capacity of 60+.
If an individual or department wants to use a wireless microphone they can purchase the following:
- Shure BLX1 Wireless Bodypack Transmitter (H9: 512 to 542 MHz) Transmitter
- Shure WL185 Cardioid Lavalier Microphone with TA4F Connector
The cost of the transmitter and microphone is approximately $250 and is available from many places as well as UMD Stores. You must purchase the exact models listed in the links above, alternatives will not work.
