A wide range of university supported academic technology platforms and tools can be used to support in-person, blended, and online instruction at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Webinars and Workshops

Our UMN system-wide partners, ATSS (Academic Technology Support Services) and CEI (Center for Educational Innovation), continue to offer a wide variety of webinars and workshops that provide discussion and demonstrations on academic technology topics such as:

  • Multimedia Learning Modules
  • Video lectures
  • Narrated Presentations
  • Quizzes and Assessments

In addition, sessions that focus on improving the online learning experience and planning for a pivot to remote instruction are provided.

Learning Online 101

To foster student success with online learning, faculty and instructors are invited to offer Learning Online 101 to their students as an early activity in their course. The self-paced course touches on:

  • Self-motivation
  • Time Management
  • Technical Skills
  • Available Student Support

All of these contribute to greater success in online classes, with advice directly from UMN faculty and students.

eGradebook Decommission

This is a reminder that the eGradebook application will be decommissioned on October 1, 2020. Existing eGradebooks have been available on the eGradebook archive server since August 15, 2019. If you still need to access existing eGradebooks or grade book data, please do so prior to October 1, 2020.
