Move your classic Google Sites to new Sites by November 30, 2021.
Google is replacing classic Sites with the new Google Sites. Owners of University of Minnesota classic Sites have until November 30, 2021 to migrate to the new Google Sites. Starting December 2021, any remaining classic Sites will be automatically archived and replaced with a draft in the new Sites experience for site owners to review and publish. This change applies to all system campus domains.
No action is required by University Google Sites that are currently in new Sites.

- December 2021: Classic Sites will be retired
Migrate Your Sites
To determine if you own any classic Google Sites, or to get started reviewing and migrating your Sites, visit Google Sites Migration for detailed instructions.
If you don't proactively take action on your classic Site(s) by November 30, 2021, they will be archived and replaced by a draft site in the new Sites within your Google Drive. If you no longer need your Site, it is recommended that you delete it.
If you have any questions about the migration, please refer to Google Sites Migration or contact the ITSS Help Desk for assistance. You are also invited to attend a Drupal Drop-in to receive personalized Google Sites support.
If you would like to build a new Google site, check out Google's online guide or take LinkedIn Learning's Google Sites Essential Training. Custom Google Sites training sessions for your group are available upon request. Please email [email protected] to express interest.
