MediaHub Checkout at the TechCenter
The MediaHub equipment checkout will be located at the TechCenter in Kirby Plaza 165. This means any technology questions or production equipment checkout can be handled in one convenient location.
Beginning Monday, August 28, the TechCenter and MediaHub Checkout will share business hours of:
- Monday to Friday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday: Closed
- Sunday: Closed
We are also updating our checkout software, too. This is a huge upgrade and means you can:
- View all available equipment items online in your user profile
- Check real-time availability on an equipment item
- Amend, cancel, and renew your reservation bookings
- Search your reservation booking history
MediaHub CoLab
The former tech lounge and production rooms have merged and are housed together in the Kirby Plaza 173. The MediaHub CoLab is centrally located with expanded space offering quick access to experts in media production. It will be useful for dropin conversations or classroom programming.
The new space features:
- Scanners
- 3D printers
- iMacs with access to all Adobe Creative Cloud applications
- Demonstration and prototyping area for emerging technologies
- Soft seating & interactive display for group meetings
- Student & Staff experts in video and graphic production and post-production
Hours Will Be:
- Monday to Friday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday: Closed
- Sunday: Closed
We anticipate our first day of operation to be Wednesday, September 13.

One Button Studios
One Button Studios can be reserved online! These automated recording studios can make video capture a breeze.
- Kirby Plaza 174: The key can be picked up in the TechCenter in Kirby Plaza 165
- Kathryn A. Martin Library (KAML) 142: The key can be picked up at the Library Services Desk on the 1st Floor.
Animation Stand Space
The animation stand space will remain in KAML but has been moved to KAML 126. The key can be picked up at the Library checkout counter.
We are also announcing the return of Linkedin Photo Shoots on September 6. These headshots will be located in Kirby Plaza 165; stop in at the MediaHub Desk to inquire.
Linkedin Photo Shoots
Linkedin photo shoots will be hosted in the ITSS Tech Center and via pop-ups throughout the semester. Look for more information and reservations by in the coming weeks.
