The ITSS Enterprise team is back to full staff thanks to Carter joining us.
What Carter Does for ITSS
As a business/systems analyst, Carter provides:
- Enterprise solution support and enterprise data retrieval
- Analysis
- Consulting
- Other reporting services to campus collegiate units
He will also work with the campus partners closely to collect and analyze their business requirements, voice on behalf of them, and function as a bridge between the business units and ITSS developers in either selecting and implementing off the shelf products or developing brand new applications to help them achieve their special business missions.
Carter's Background & Hobbies
Carter just received his computer science degree from UMD. He spent the last 3.5 years working at the ITSS TechCenter and became a lead in August 2021. Carter's family is from North Dakota. He enjoys gaming and refurbishes his own consoles and AV equipment as a hobby. He runs a:
- Minecraft server
- Media server
- Domain Name System (DNS) server
- Home automation server
On top of that Carter loves to cook. He enjoys making everything from pasta to curry to smoked pastrami.
