Apps4U: More Capacity and Better Performance

At the end of fall semester 2017, ITSS added capacity to and improved the performance of Apps4U.

More users of the system can be accommodated at the same time, and performance improvements have been made that impact high end software like Ansys and Solidworks.

Whether a person is in a Windows lab or logging in via BYOD, the experience is the same. Courses no longer need to be scheduled in a Windows lab. If students have a smartphone, tablet, or laptop with them, and the class is in a space with Internet access, Apps4U is available and runs the same as in a lab.

Apps4U is available to anyone paying the Full Access Technology fee. For more information on how to set up a BYOD device to login to Apps4U, please review the Apps4U and BYOD web page.
